Paintings by Brazilian artist Rogério Degaki. I can’t believe these are not knit or
woven pieces. The paintings are colorful and cartoonish. Rogério’s inspiration
draws from many sources including Japanese cartoons, Jeff Koons and Minimalism
which can really be seen in his sculptures.

I love the colors and whimsical shapes of these
embroidered paintings.

Painting leaves, flowers and other nature inspired elements, Alexi Torres
creates intricately woven portraits of historical and pop culture personalities
and places. It’s amazing these are paintings and not actually textile.

I love these mixed media pieces by Masako Miki. The deer sculpture is made of
felt. The artwork above incorporates thread and acrylic on either paper or wood.
Be sure to check out her other paintings on her website.
